This Privacy Policy explains how NotPeople Network ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and discloses information when you visit swarm.notpeople.ai (the "Site"). By using the Site you agree to this Policy.

1. Information we collect

The Site does not require an account. We collect:

  • Usage data via analytics (PostHog): pages visited, referrer, approximate location derived from IP, device and browser type, click and scroll behaviour, and a randomly assigned anonymous identifier stored in cookies or local storage.
  • Communications: if you contact us via email, Telegram, or other channel linked from the Site, we receive whatever information you choose to share, including your name, messaging handle, and the content of your message.
  • Server logs: standard web-server logs (IP address, request timestamp, requested URL, user agent) retained for up to 90 days for security and operational purposes.

We do not knowingly collect special-category data (race, religion, health, biometrics, etc.). Please do not submit such data via the Site.

2. How we use information

  • To operate, maintain, and improve the Site.
  • To measure aggregate usage, identify bugs, and prioritise content.
  • To respond to inquiries you initiate via Telegram, email, or other contact channels.
  • To detect and prevent abuse, fraud, and security incidents.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use the Site's analytics to build advertising profiles or to retarget visitors on third-party ad networks.

3. Cookies and similar technologies

The Site uses cookies and local storage in two contexts:

  • Strictly necessary: minimal storage required for the Site to render correctly.
  • Analytics: PostHog stores a randomly generated identifier so we can attribute repeat visits to the same browser without identifying you personally.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings or use a private / incognito window. Disabling analytics cookies will not affect your ability to read the Site.

4. Third-party services

The Site relies on the following processors:

  • PostHog for product analytics (PostHog Privacy Policy).
  • Hosting and CDN providers that deliver the Site to your browser and may process IP addresses and basic request metadata in line with their own privacy policies.
  • Telegram, when you click a contact link, takes you to a third-party messaging service governed by Telegram's Privacy Policy.

5. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under data protection law including:

  • The right to access information we hold about you.
  • The right to request correction or deletion.
  • The right to object to or restrict certain processing, including analytics.
  • The right to data portability and the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
  • The right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

6. Data retention

We retain analytics data for up to 24 months and server logs for up to 90 days. Communications you send us are retained for as long as necessary to respond and for a reasonable period afterwards. You can request deletion at any time.

7. International transfers

We may process information in jurisdictions outside your own, including in the United States and the European Economic Area. Where required, we rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.

8. Children

The Site is intended for business users and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect information. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee that unauthorized access will never occur.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top. Your continued use of the Site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
